The Economic Partnership Theme Groups are at the heart of the Partnership. These are the groups that provide the specialist technical input into the Investment Plan.
Their recommendations for activity at programme and project level are presented to the Executive for their wider consideration to determine whether the projects fit strategically within the Investment Plan and also whether there are further opportunities for alignment within existing activity.
Starting with the Strategic Economic Assessment (SEA) they identify strengths/opportunities and needs within their areas. This is then translated into individual commissioning frameworks which identify opportunities for activity at project and programme levels.
The Economic Partnership Theme Groups currently are:
Business Support, Skills, Access to Employment, Access to Transport, Embedding Investment, Rural, Research & Renaissance.
