The Partnership is led by a Board chosen from leaders in the public and private sectors that have a keen interest in the competitiveness and growth of the West Yorkshire sub-regional economy.
Their role is to set up and then steer the West Yorkshire Investment Plan at strategic level to ensure that it delivers at lest the West Yorkshire element of the Regional Economic Strategy. It also has an outward facing role to guide and influence policy at both the regional and national level.
The Board meets six times a year.
